“Suga” Sean O’ Malley takes on Petr Yan at UFC 280, which is expected to be a fast-paced fight.
O’Malley and Side they’re both predominantly strikers, so we expect the fight to stay up most of the time. However, that doesn’t mean that neither of them can handle a tough opponent on the field. Petr Yan didn’t look like a fish out of water at all, despite losing to Aljamain Sterling in their second round due to the Jamaican-American’s superior ground control.
Both fighters are lashing out at each other on social media in what is seen as an extremely high-stakes match for the juniorweight division.
Speaking to guest MMAGuru on the TimboSugaShow, Sean O’Malley Let’s break down a few details of some of the standout rumors surrounding Petr Yan. For context, MMAGuru basically said that Petr Yan’s “Siberian” qualities would ensure the victory Tim Welch (co-host) had against him,”I don’t think it’s in Siberia, though, in Thailand, in Tiger Muay Thai.”
To this, O’Malley said, “I heard there’s a little ladyboy friend there, I don’t want to start gossip and shit.Understanding the variability of interpretation, Welch said, “there’s nothing wrong with that” and “Suga” repeated the same words.

Sean O’Malley chose Charles Oliveira for the main event of UFC 280.
One notable feature of O’Malley was that he did not offend MMAGuru by telling MMAGuru that he believed his opponent would strangle him under pressure from Petr Yan and bring the win back to Russia.
Among other things, podcast hosts and MMAGuru debated who they thought would win at UFC 280 – both went unanimously Charles “Make the Bronx” Oliveira as the winner of the main event.

When O’Malley asks why he thinks so, MMAGura aforementioned, “I got Charles Oliveira. You have to take the big underdogs. I guess I’m just leaning 50-50, Oliveira. One of my favorite fighters, Charles Oliveira, is probably the top champion in terms of entertainment on the roster right now.”
To this, “Suga” replied, “Yes, I would agree with that. I’m going with the Do Bronx too. I don’t know if I want him to win this much!”
