Holly Holm She is one of the pioneers of MMA and is also among the greatest female martial artists of all time. Holly was inducted into the international Boxing Hall of Fame on Sunday, and MMA fighter Cris Cyborg congratulated her on such an incredible feat. Holm is best known for his outstanding career in MMA, but his career in boxing was just as amazing, winning the WBC and WBA world heavyweight titles throughout his career.
Holm holds a professional career record of 33 wins and 2 losses and is among the greatest heavyweight fighters of all time. Holy was also named fighter of the year twice by Ring magazine, in 2005 and 2006. With such an amazing career, Holm Floyd MayweatherWladimir Klitschko and Roy Jones Jr.
After her inauguration, Holm’s former rival, Cris Cyborg, congratulated Holly on such an incredible feat. Cris congratulated Holly via her twitter account and said her legacy is long lasting. Holm retired from boxing in 2013 to focus on MMA and his success in MMA is well known. Holm also battled Cris Cyborg throughout her MMA career, but lost the fight via a unanimous decision. Holly had a professional MMA record with 14 wins and 6 losses.

The Boxing Hall of Fame was held by the International boxing hall of fame last weekend at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York. The IBHOF is between two world-renowned halls of fame and was started as an initiative to honor boxers and other personalities who have contributed to the sport.
IBHOF has been held every year since 1990 but was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the covid restriction. This year’s event was attended by 3 Hall of Famers classes and boxers and many Hollywood celebrities. Holly Holm was part of the class of 2022 and during her inauguration speech she thanked her team along with her coach Mike Winklejohn for helping her achieve so much in combat sports.
In his speech, Holm thanked his parents along with his siblings and expressed that he was happy to have people who took care of him throughout his boxing journey. said: “Do you want to talk about loyalty? This is as deep as you can get. Much obliged. I don’t think this award is just for me. It’s a group effort, especially being a woman. I know I wouldn’t have these opportunities without Lenny Fresquez… And my coach, Mike Winklejohn. No matter what I did, she believed and has been from the beginning.”
