After rushing to the hospital right after his fatal performance against RDA, Moicano made sure to let his fans know about his feelings after the fight. “No excuses, thanks to Rafael Dos Anjos and the UFC for this opportunity.” Renato said on his Twitter account: “Today does not define me. I am victorious in life, the way I deal with my family and my team.”

“Thank God it’s a great time to be alive. Never forget, I’m always after BIG MONEY PORRA!” He wrote of Moicano in his post-fight tweet. A stunning win against Moicano is coming Alexander Hernandez February 13 at UFC 271. Less than a month after his win, Renato accepted a challenge against top contender RDA with 5 days’ notice.
