The 2019 champion played very solidly in the first set and was in complete control of the match, but things changed drastically in the second set. Thanks to Rublev’s genius, he lost his momentum but could do nothing to counter it. He was so angry most of the second and third sets that his box was fueling the fire.
Tsitsipas’ father, who was also his coach, was in his lodge with his mother.
