Dominic Striker also gave praise to Holger Rune, who is probably the most talked about player on the ATP tour right now. The Danish genius made a phenomenal run to claim the title, including a breathless victory over Novak Djokovic in the final in Paris.

Dominic Striker would attempt to break into the top 100 early next season with his first real test, the Australian Open 2023. The Swiss player has won two Challenger events this season, but he believes 2023 will be his breakthrough season.
Speaking of names like Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, Dominic Striker believes his level is not far from the duo and hopes to get there sooner or later. “These guys are doing a great job and I don’t see a huge gap between us, but I just have to keep doing my thing and it will come, I hope,” added.
Dominic Striker has trained several times with the best in the business, Roger Federer. The teenager views the 20-time grand champion as his idol and believes there are similarities in terms of playing styles.
“Of course, if you live in Switzerland… My only big idol [had to be] Roger Federer. Roger is Swiss and he has a game quite similar to how I want to play it.,” added.
After what we’ve seen in recent months, we can safely say that the future of men’s tennis is in very safe hands. If Dominic Stricker manages to realize his potential next season, Next Generation could be a new addition to the stars.
