former tennis star Patrick McEnroe appeared in public to defend Novak Djokovic On the mystery drinking saga at the Paris Masters. Patrick McEnroe in the final episode of the series Holding Court with Patrick McEnroe podcast spoke on the subject and defended Djokovic against all unfounded allegations. Like Simona Halep, Djokovic argued that if she had taken any illegal drugs then she would have tested positive, but that was not the case.

“These players are constantly being tested, as we recently learned that Simona Halep has tested positive. So, if there was something illegal in their stir-fry that they always made for them during matches, he would probably have tested positive for it.” McEnroe aforementioned.
