“I fell in love by accident,” says Novak Djokovic, about how he was inspired to play tennis.

Novak Djokovic After years of practice and sheer hard work, he has become one of the greatest tennis players of all time. But there is always a beginning. The 21-time Grand Slam champion must have started somewhere, too. What was the spark that ignited the fire?

This question has remained on the minds of tennis fans all over the world. After watching Serbs play and win championships for almost two decades, that question has finally been answered. The answer came from the maestro himself.

We Are Tennis, a campaign by BNP Paribas to promote the sport of tennis, posted a cute photo of little Novak Djokovic hitting the ball with his tennis racket.

“Tennis was not our sport in the family. I fell in love with him by accident. They built 3 courts in front of my family’s restaurant. I started watching tennis on TV and asked my parents to buy me a racket. This is how it all started” subtitle read.

Novak Djokovic took the time to hone his skills and improved his fitness to compete internationally. And what a great story and inspiration we all have.

Novak Djokovic after making a great peak into the 2022 season and winning 2022 ATP Finals The trophy is ready to start the 2023 season. To give him more confidence, the Australian Government lifted the ban on playing Under the Australian Open last time.

He will start his season by participating in the Adelaide International tournament, which will be played between 1.st and 8pearl January 2023. To familiarize himself and better prepare for the 2023 Australian Open, Daniil Medvedev will be locking horns with Felix Auger-Aliassime, Jannik Sinner and Andy Murray alongside other Top seeds.

His fans would have liked to see him more in the ATP tournament as well as the Grand Slams. He could add a few Grand Slam titles this season so he has the chance to become the player with the most Grand Slam titles.

However, major North American tournaments such as the Miami Open, Cincinnati Masters, Canadian Open and US Open may miss it as the US and Canada continue to ban players who are not vaccinated against Covid-19. The tennis community hopes that both governments will allow him to play on their territory. He will also have the chance to have the largest number of players in this tournament if he qualifies for the 2023 ATP Finals tournament this year.
