The richest person in the world, elon musk took over Twitter for $44 billion after struggling with senior management for months. He now owns Twitter and is working to restore freedom of speech. Many prominent personalities have been banned from Twitter in recent years for various hate speech, and now with Musk’s takeover, discussions of bringing them back to the social media platform have found new ground.
Tennis legend Martina Navratilova is a very active person on social media and expresses her “loyal” opinion on Twitter without hesitation. She has a left-leaning ideology, and as such, she often speaks out against the typical right-wing mentality and Republicans. With the takeover of Musk, there is a promise among the left that extremists who have been banned from social media like Donald Trump will now return and spread hatred in the name of free speech.
Navratilova did not directly react to Musk’s takeover, but did respond to a tweet about Elon Musk. When asked if he would stay on Twitter after purchasing Musk, he cryptically replied that he would stay for now.
“For now,” He responded by stating that he may leave the social media platform in the future if hatred prevails.

Martina Navratilova ‘happy’ about Adidas’ decision to leave Kanye West

kanye West Adidas was demoted after its antisemitic statements on social media. Navratilova, who was quite insistent on Adidas leaving West, congratulated the decision on Twitter.
“Adidas does not tolerate anti-Semitism and any other form of hate speech. Ye’s recent comments and actions were unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.” A statement was made from Adidas.
Navratilova took one look at the pop singer and beckoned him desperately for attention. “Oop. Is Kanye getting desperate?” tweeted.
