Old American World No.1 Billie Jean King Praises the 7-time Formula 1 Champion Lewis Hamilton For his efforts to train women in sports. Lewis Hamilton was very positive about the W-series, an all-female one-man racing championship that started in 2019.
“I do (support) 100%. especially the W series. F1’s entire life hasn’t focused enough on women… not enough [Female] industry board-wide representation“When asked if the FI would help tackle youthful formulas like the W-series, Hamilton said.
Billie Jean took it to bird practice and quotes Lewis Hamilton as saying, “The F1 W Series (all-female single-seater racing championship) ended prematurely due to financial problems. Thank you, Lewis Hamilton, for using your platform to advocate for greater inclusion and representation of women competing to grow the sport.”

Billie Jean King – Advocate for gender equality
Billie Jean King’s legendary tennis career is crowned with 35 major championships. Out of 35, 12 took place in singles, 16 in women’s doubles and 11 in mixed doubles she. She turned pro in 1968 and retired in 1990.
King is best known as an advocate of gender equality and women’s empowerment. In 1973, at age 29, she won a tennis match against 55-year-old Bobby Riggs (former American No.1). This match was laterwar of the sexes“. It remains one of the most famous tennis events of all time.
She is also the founder of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) and the Women’s Sports Foundation. His fights against 24-time Grand Slam Champion Margaret Court in his early years made tennis more popular in the early 1970s.
