“We are extremely worried” – Roger Federer shares his concern over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine

Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer has often shown that he has a heart of gold. Over the years, his foundation The Roger Federer Foundation has helped many children in Africa and Switzerland with early education. The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine significantly affected the Swiss player. In a recent interview, Federer highlighted current events and whether he has discussed them with his four children. Roger has two conjoined twins. two girls (Myla and Charlene) and two boys (Leo and Lenny). Roger mentioned in that interview that he and his wife, Mirka, had discussed this issue with their children. Federer also hopes that as his children grow up, they will do well in the world.

Back then, we were further away from the war here in Switzerland. Mirka and I are extremely concerned about the state of the world. “It is difficult to exemplify carefree joy when you have collapsed yourself. When Mirka came here from Slovakia with her family as a child, she lost her homeland. It suffers immensely from the misery of refugees. Our foundation wants to help traumatized children.
