Design: two different philosophies
As you will notice, the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P are fundamentally different. LG and Huawei are two manufacturers with different philosophies, and this is reflected in Google’s two new smartphones. most Nexus 5X is logically quite compact Since it shows a 5.2-inch screen versus 5.7 for the Nexus 6P. On the other hand, it is a few tenths of a millimeter thicker.

Where the two devices fundamentally differ is in the materials. While the Nexus 5X is made of polycarbonate Nexus 6P is made of aluminum. It is also the first Nexus to integrate this alloy. This difference in materials and dimensions is palpable in terms of weight, as the Nexus 5X is lighter (178g vs. 136g).
Finally, the two smartphones differ in the design of the shell. The Nexus 5X shows a slight bulge at the camera optics level. The Nexus 6P, on the other hand, shows a horizontal black bar covering the entire width of the smartphone at the camera optics level. Frankly, we can’t recommend one model more than another when it comes to design, it’s a matter of taste.
Performance: Nexus 6P is quite superior
As shown in the comparison chart of the datasheets, Nexus 6P is generally better than Nexus 5X. Its processor is more powerful, it includes 1GB more RAM, a better GPU and more internal memory.
