After months of waiting for fans, Apple has finally lifted the curtain. iPhone 6S. As always, the comparison is inevitable, and today the match is played between three rivals: Apple’s latest flagship, its sworn enemy, Samsung Galaxy S6 and Sony Xperia Z5 announced last week.

Processor and performance
In the Galaxy S6 lineup, along with a proven Exynos 7420 processor (to the point where it will be reused in the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+ a few months later) 3GB LPDDR4 RAM. It’s a combination that offers excellent performance, despite the sometimes somewhat aggressive RAM management.
The Sony Xperia Z5 follows its Android rivals and uses a processor. Snapdragon 810 with 3GB RAM. It’s definitely Qualcomm’s most powerful Soc, but its annoying overheating trend has already caused performance issues on several devices. I hope that’s not the case with the last Sony.
Finally, for the third year in a row, Apple is betting on the 64-Bit chip, which is announced as 70% faster. 90% faster graphics more than last year. iOS is sufficiently optimized to run on fewer resources than Android, and at this level the iPhone 6S should deliver on its promises.
Display and design
On the display side, Samsung uses a Quad HD definition panel based on Super AMOLED technology, which gives excellent results without sacrificing the autonomy of its smartphone, which is neither better nor worse than the Galaxy S5.
Sony is betting on the panel with Full HD 1080p definition for the sixth time in a row. But since the Z2, Sony no longer uses TFT panels, but IPS screens that are both brighter and with more contrast. And on a 5.2-inch screen, Full HD is more than enough.
Finally, remaining in the 4.7-inch format, the iPhone 6S offers 1334 x 750 pixel definition and 326 dpi resolution. It lags behind its competitors at this level, but the great strength of its display lies in its Force Touch technology, called 3D Touch, which offers a new way of interacting with the user.
In terms of design, each of the three models offered offers premium materials, glass and aluminum. The battery is unfortunately not removable due to the unibody design used, and while the pill has had a hard time getting past Samsung this year, Sony or Apple smartphone users have never given up at this point.

As you can see, Apple’s aim is not to compete for Megapixels, but this year Apple decided to go even further by offering 12 Megapixels instead of 8 Megapixels for different reasons. However, this year, Apple seems to have presented a more ambitious technical sheet than the previous ones, especially in terms of photography.
