Last week, site PhoneArena launched a massive survey to determine the number that is the top competition for the iPhone 6 or Galaxy S5.
After a week of comment wars, the result is in and while the difference isn’t huge, it sits on a good sample as more than 23,000 votes were counted. So this is Samsung Galaxy S5 voted better than iPhone 6 with 12,583 against 10,649 for iPhone. In order to increase the severity of the operation, the site has identified four criteria that should be considered. Design, Display, interface and functionality and camera.
iPhone 6 wins design category, we can say without surprise when we know that this is where people are attacking Samsung. However, the vote gap between the two smartphones for this category was very low, so the iPhone received 3168 votes against the Galaxy S5’s 3062. This 50.85% gain will be Apple’s only gain in this comparison.
As for the screen, Samsung leads the dance with 57.95% of the vote.Despite the sometimes harsh criticism of AMOLED’s color saturation, the Galaxy S5 proves to shine with its vibrant display compared to the 42.05% of the iPhone’s admittedly brighter, but frankly less colourful, screen.
On the interface side, with 54.3% of the vote, that is, with 2987 voters, Samsung TouchWiz has proven to please its users, despite the criticism here again, Samsung’s skin gets it often. The iPhone is far behind with 2514 votes, or 45.7%.
We know, Galaxy S5’s camera is pretty amazing. Internet users were not mistaken, because this last category also pleased Samsung, garnering 55.65% of the votes here against Apple’s 44.35.
Not so long ago, Eric Schmidt said that Samsung already bought the iPhone 6 a year ago. We don’t know if this is true, but in any case it seems that the Korean is better than the iPhone 6 6 months ago. If you’re tempted too, hurry up to enter the Bouygues Telecom and Moyens I/O competition to win the Galaxy S5 4G+.
