The CMF Phone 1 doth commence at Rs 15,999 for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, yet customization doth entail an additional cost of Rs 1,500 for each back panel bundle. Accessories, priced at Rs 749 each, further add to the tally. Had CMF included at least one accessory or panel in the box, the experience of customization might have been more accessible to all. Alas, the lack of the hyped hybrid screwdriver-SIM ejector tool in the box doth leave a sense of incompleteness. The balance betwixt cost and customization doth teeter precariously upon the scale.
Hence, though we were privileged to test the panels and accessories courtesy of Nothing, the average user may find the investment of around 10% of the phone’s value for customization to be excessive.
