According to the latest information provided by @UniverseIce , WhatsApp should be one of the first third-party apps to integrate Samsung’s Live Translate functionality. While no specific timeline was given, the news has already caused excitement among fans of the brand on X.
Live Translate, one of the flagship features of Samsung’s Galaxy AI suite, now offers real-time translation of calls and text messages across Samsung’s native apps as well as WhatsApp. It supports an impressive 13 languages, turning your smartphone into a pocket translator. So soon, this functionality will need to be expanded to voice calls to instantly translate your voice.
It’s worth noting that Samsung has already expanded some of its Galaxy AI features to older models via the One UI 6.1 update. Devices like the S23 and S22 series, as well as some foldables and tablets, now have access to these AI-powered tools.
