When you create a group on WhatsApp, you need to come up with a name for it. If some users are inspired, it’s not for everyone. What is a purposeless discussion called if it is to talk about everything and nothing at all? After this, no need to find someone anymore.
It’s now possible, as Mark Zuckerberg explains to create an anonymous group. Specifically, WhatsApp will automatically name a conversation with one of its members. For example, you may encounter a group called “Sam & Simon & Kevin & Bruno & Pierre”.

Certainly, it is possible to change the name and image of the group later if a flash of inspiration crosses your mind. In any case, finding an adequate title will make life easier for some users who sometimes have headaches.
Note that there are still some limitations. There must be a name after six members. Why ? It’s pretty simple to avoid very long titles. Imagine a group of 30 people with 30 names side by side. We would like to remind you that a group can have a maximum of 1024 participants. This new feature is currently available to users in both iOS, Android and Windows apps.
WhatsApp continues slowly but surely will be enriched with small functions. Recently, screen sharing during video calls was introduced as a way to compete with Teams and Zoom.
