According to a new report from WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is currently working on a feature to pin a message in a chat. In the new app update 2.23.3.17, which is currently only available to a small group of beta testers, WhatsApp has added pinned messages to its app.
As the name suggests, the feature helps prioritize important messages and keep them at the top of the conversation for easy access. This feature should be Accessible in one-on-one discussions, but also in group conversations.
To pin a message, you probably just have to select the new “pin” action in the message options that appear after you keep pressing on it. The good news is that it will be possible to pin multiple messages, which can come in handy for quickly detecting an important message. Instead of pinning a message, you can click the star in the top right after selecting the one you want.
