Meta’s new social network Threads has officially started testing a new feature. allows users to like posts with a simple swipe. This feature, which was first noticed by some users earlier this month, was officially announced by Instagram CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Adam Mosseri, as well as the official Threads account.
Testing is currently limited to a select group of users but is an important step in improving user engagement on the platform. According to Instagram’s president Mosseri, the introduction of swipe gestures gives users more control over their experience in Threads.
