TikTok ad-free subscription plan

The trial of an ad-free component comes as TikTok looks to diversify its revenue streams. TikTok Shop, the platform’s in-app marketplace, has been moved to the main navigation bar for some users, and the company has offered ads and coupons, hoping to encourage users to make purchases.

Other platforms have also tried ad-free subscriptions to make money. Elon Musk has said in the past on Twitter that he wants to offer a “more expensive”, ad-free subscription. company says X Premium subscribers get “approximately 50% fewer ads” in news feeds.

However, the initiative is very similar to YouTube’s initiative, which allows YouTube Premium to remove ads from videos you watch on its platform. Considering how many people watch TikTok these days, this seems like a thing It’s a great idea for the company to generate more revenue and perhaps draw people away from other TikTok-like experiencesIt’s like Instagram Reels where no ads are an option right now.
