TikTok: 4 teenagers die in car crash after participating in ‘Kia Challenge’

The Kia Challenge is a disturbing social media trend that started on TikTok, which saw participants attempt to hijack a Hyundai Group car using a USB cable. A few months ago, owners of some Hyundai and Kia models were told by the police to take special precautions. Protect their vehicles from a wave of theft after the challenge arises.

This daring challenge eventually turned tragic as a failed attempt in Buffalo resulted in the deaths of four teenagers. It is not uncommon for thieves to later get into stolen cars. Kia Challenge claims new victims

According to a report by Insider, six teenagers from the city of Buffalo stole a Kia Sportage late last week. The young group, aged between 14 and 17, then set out. Crash on Route 33 in Buffalo. latter Four passengers died, while the other two were hospitalized with minor injuries.

Police said the driver was charged with possession of stolen goods and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. TikTok somehow tries to strengthen the detection of dangerous challenges, but not all of them are detected in a timely manner. This is far from the first deadly challenge from TikTok, as we’ve previously seen two girls aged 8 and 9 die after participating in the “blackout challenge” that involved drowning and fainting.
