TikTok has released a new feature that will make life a lot easier for both content creators and businesses.
This new native TikTok scheduler It allows you to schedule a video post up to 10 days in advance.
This means you can plan your content ahead of time and have it delivered at a time when your target audience is most active. This is ideal for those who want to publish consistent content but don’t have time to do it all in one day.
With this update, TikTok has made it easier than ever to get your content out there and seen by the people who matter most, even on vacation.
So what are you waiting for? Here’s how to schedule posts for TikTok!
How to schedule posts for TikTok (the real way)
OK, of course. Prior to the release of the native TikTok scheduler, there were some third-party apps that claimed to let you schedule your posts. But to do that, you had to first export your videos from TikTok and then use it to reinstall the app.
And if you want to make any changes (e.g. title, privacy settings), after your post is published you need to go back to TikTok and make the changes in the app. This system was boring and ineffective.
But now, with the native TikTok scheduler, you can schedule TikTok posts with ease. Here’s how.
Step 1: Login to TikTok in your web browser
Currently, the TikTok scheduler is only available in a web browser, but we hope to see in-app integrations soon.
To use TikTok post scheduler, go to tiktok.com and login to your account.
Once inside, click on the Cloud icon in the upper right corner of your feed. This will take you to the TikTok installation page.
Step 2: Create and upload your video
Next, upload your video to the TikTok platform and edit it. Here you can add hashtags, edit the cover image, choose who can see your video, and set privacy settings. You can also specify whether other TikTok users can duet or leave comments on your video.
Step 3: Plan your video
When your video is ready to be published, turn on the Schedule button. Select the date you want to post and you’re ready!
Unfortunately, like with regular posts, you can’t edit your video once it’s scheduled. If you need to make any changes to your post, you can delete the scheduled post and reload it after making your edits.
What is a good TikTok program?

If you’re ready to schedule TikTok posts, review these quick tips first.
Create a TikTok content calendar
Content calendars can help you plan your posts ahead of time so you don’t try to generate ideas at the last minute. They can also save you from making spelling or intonation mistakes and help you time your posts to reach the widest possible audience.
There are several different ways to create a content calendar. You can use a template like the ones found on this blog or create your own using a spreadsheet or calendar app.
If you’re creating your own content calendar, be sure to fill in all relevant information for each post, including:
- The date and platform you want the post to be published on
- All relevant KPIs
- Platform-specific criteria such as Stories, Reels, or Stream posts
- A brief description of the content
The more detailed your calendar, the easier it is to fill it with content. Once your calendar is complete, you can start creating your content on TikTok and using the TikTok scheduler to publish it at the best time for your audience.

Time zones are important!
If most of your followers are in a different time zone than yours, posting in your time zone at midnight may not be the best time to reach them.
The easiest way to find out when your audience is online is to check your Business or Creator account analytics:
- Go to your profile page and tap the three lines in the upper right corner of the screen.
- click business teamback then Analytical
Here you will see a graph showing the hours of the day when your followers are most active on TikTok. You can also see how many times your videos have been viewed and liked at different times of the day.

Keep in mind that these analytics represent your followers as a whole, not just your organic audience. If you’re targeting a specific audience with your content, you’ll want to research activity patterns separately.
Use past posts to inform your schedule
When in doubt, review your top performing posts Chances are, your audience is more active at that time.
You can use TikTok Analytics to see how individual posts are performing. This includes data on views, likes, comments, and post times.
Here’s how to do this:
- go Business or Creator Analytics page (follow the steps listed above)
- From the top menu bar, Contents
- Click on individual posts to see how they are performing

Plan to post consistently 1-4 times a day on TikTok
We all know that consistency is key when it comes to social media. If you want to build an audience on TikTok, you need to post content regularly. But what’s the best way to do this?
First off, TikTok recommends posting at least 1-4 times a day if you want to see results. Features like the For You page are constantly refreshed, so if you don’t post often, your content will be lost.
The great news is that the TikTok scheduler makes it easy to post consistently. You can add videos to your queue up to a week ago and the app will automatically post them at the times you specify.
However, don’t post to publish
Now that you have a TikTok scheduler, you may want to schedule large amounts of content at once.
But remember, authenticity is key at TikTok!
Businesses that thrive on TikTok create authentic content that closely aligns with the community and the local TikTok experience.
One way to make sure your videos are top-notch is to follow the trends. Check out what’s popular on TikTok right now and take advantage of platform-specific features like Duets, Stitches, and music.
That way, when new users discover your content, they’ll be more likely to hang out and engage.
The new TikTok scheduling tool is an exciting addition to an already powerful social app. By bringing the strategy to your spontaneity, you can create even better content and reach new audiences.
