Increasing the maximum story time from 15 seconds to 60 seconds in September 2022, Instagram is preparing to integrate a new feature. Especially with many competitors of the social network such as Signal, it is already possible to zoom stories directly.
It is suitable for easier viewing of details in the background and for reading a text, for example. Only, this feature is still not available on instagram. Things are about to change, according to respected developer Alessandro Paluzzi, who has already leaked most of the full Meta app.

As a reminder, Instagram recently admitted that the app offers too many videos to its users. The social network’s boss, Adam Mosseri, recognized this and announced in a story that there will be a more prominent focus on photography in 2023, to the delight of professional photographers working on the platform.
