Finally, a new feature from Instagram that makes our lives better Easier. If the reels scared you, the new Instagram Reels templates will be your new bffs.

With Instagram’s significant shift to short-form video, Reels have now become the main focus of most marketers’ Instagram strategies. An Instagram poll revealed that 91% of users watch videos weekly, so it’s not surprising to see more and more companies stepping up the process of creating video content.

The most important thing keeping most creators and businesses from building a mountainous Reel pile is the time it takes to build each one.

Luckily, Instagram has recently rolled out a few Spool updates, including the new Spool Templates feature that makes creating Spools much faster.

What are Instagram Reels templates?

Instagram Reels templates allow you to create a Reel using preset music and clip times from existing Reels. You can use templates from any Reel with music and at least three clips.

The beauty of Instagram Reel templates is that they remove some of the most time-consuming steps of creating Reels: choosing music and editing the clips together to match the music. This means you can spend less time editing and jump into trends sooner!

Without the spool templates, if you want to reuse the music and timing of another Reel, you’ll have to estimate and adjust the length of each clip yourself.
