You’ve probably set your next username, but while you wait, why not do a little poll among your friends? Give them a few suggestions and see what happens. Or do a Twitter poll for an even better example. That doesn’t mean you should listen to others when it comes to something personal like a username. However, it doesn’t hurt to see what others most associate with you.
Type Usernames
Thirty days isn’t as long as it seems, but it gives you plenty of time to think. You can get that unexpected spark of inspiration while watching a movie or TV show. Write all your ideas down on paper (or who are we kidding, on your smartphone!) and you’ll have plenty of options when the time comes.
Just Don’t Think
When the time comes, you will know. Now two seconds after typing the username you have, you have decided on the username you want. Good. Set a reminder when the 30-day period expires and jump to it without hesitation. And if you change your mind or make a typo again, you have 30 more days waiting for you.
