Method 1: How to schedule Tweets using X (formerly Twitter)

The process of scheduling a timed X (Twitter) post is fairly simple, but remember – if you prefer scheduling posts using the X platform, it’s only possible on desktop.

Step 1. Visit the X/Twitter homepage.

You’ll find the composer box at the top:

Step 2. Create your X (Twitter) post.

Customize your post with photos, gifs, or links. Once done, click the calendar icon in the toolbar.

Step 3. Navigate to the Schedule tab.

Choose the date, time, and timezone for your post to go live, then click Confirm at the top.

But what if you need to modify a scheduled post on X?

Don’t fret; it’s an easy process.

To reschedule a scheduled post or edit its content, click the calendar icon once again:

The Schedule tab will open.

Now, click Scheduled posts at the bottom to access your Drafts folder. From here, you can view your unsent and scheduled posts. Click on the scheduled post you wish to edit:

The composer box will appear, allowing you to make your edits. Click the date at the top to adjust the date and time. Once done, click Schedule.

To delete an existing post, click Edit in the top-right corner of the Drafts page:

Checkmark the post(s) you want to delete, then click Delete.

You’ll then be directed back to the Scheduled tab in your Drafts folder, which will be empty if you have no scheduled posts.
