What is a Facebook Page template?

Facebook Page templates are preset layouts that will help you tailor your Facebook Page to your unique business needs.

Each of the 10 available Facebook Page templates has a slightly different mix of tabs, each designed to suit the needs of a particular type of business or brand.

For example, a city council member will need different features for their Facebook Page than for a fashion boutique. Same thing with a live music venue versus a dog adoption agency. As they say, different Facebook strokes for different Facebook users.

For example, the “Business” template has a “Quotes” tab. Meanwhile, the “Nonprofit” template allows users to add a fundraising button.

you don’t have to use every tab in a template of course. Once you choose your template, you can customize which sections are added or removed from your Facebook Page.
