Tom Brady claimed that the country has great respect for its military officers.
Before the pre-game press conference for the Week 7 fixture against the Carolina Panthers, he clarified his comments by saying that he made a mistake in using the right words while making analogies. The 45-year-old actress also declined to expand her thought process further before making these comments on the podcast.
“Before we start, can I say something? Earlier this week I made a statement about football and the military, and it was a terrible choice of words. I’m sorry,” said Brady.
“Honestly, I don’t want to expand too much on the subject” said Brady. “My deepest gratitude to everyone who has served. Finally we are playing a game and the army is protecting our country. These are two different things and I shouldn’t have made the comparison.”
