If your name is Carson Wentz, you’re probably punching the air right now, the quarterback has an injury history and is being replaced by backup quarterbacks. Well, there’s one particular QB with a history of replacing Wentz, he’s Nick Foles. Foles first replaced QB during his stint with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017, 2018, and 2019, and now replaces him at Indianapolis.
The team recently traded Carson Wentz to the Washington Commanders, replacing him with Matt Ryan of the Falcons. However, the team also signed a backup quarterback, just in case. They took Nick Foles from the Chicago Bears, which implicitly means that he has once again replaced Wentz. Not technically as a starter but it looks that way.
