Tony Buzbee, attorney for Deshaun Watson accusers, NFL tore Roger Goodell for suspension deal

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, who was suspended for six games, has been extended to 11 games and a $5 million fine.

Deshaun Watson would previously serve a six-game suspension by referee Sue L. Robinson for violating the league’s personal conduct policy. He is expected to be back in action in Week 13 against his former team, the Houston Texans.

Tony Buzbee, the attorney for the women who were sexually assaulted who fought against Deshaun Watson, slapped Roger Goodell, saying he was just fighting on paper and could do nothing.

Tony Buzbee He continued his attack on Roger Goodell and said that this decision is a lesson to all victims that if you’ve been harassed by a big star, it’s better to keep quiet because the justice system won’t help you.

Roger Goodell took the matter as it stands, proving one of two things: either his recent rhetoric was utter nonsense or his bark was much worse than his bite. My belief is that he is nothing but a paper tiger.

The message to all victims today is clear, if you think you’ve been sexually assaulted by a powerful person, keep your mouth shut and walk away. The NFL has certainly shown that its ownership and organization don’t care. To all sexual assault survivors, don’t let this “punishment” deter you. Keep raising your voice and talking. Your voice is important. You make the difference. We are with you.
