According to Colin Cowherd, Jimmy Garoppolo gets along extremely well with his teammates and gets the job done. He added that Garoppolo was trusted by the 49ers and passed the ball to the receivers without any interference.
“Here’s what I love about Garoppolo. We’re all looking for the perfect quarterback – Lamar Jackson runs too much for you, Garoppolo doesn’t have a big arm, Brady doesn’t move enough – except Patrick Mahomes. Doesn’t it really all come down to – Is it good in the room? Is it situationally appropriate? Does it win games?,” said Colin Cowherd.
“This team loves Jimmy Garoppolo. He took the ball to Brandon Aiyuk, gave it to seven different receivers, and there was no interference. You can sit down and separate all these guys… (Garoppolo) wins, the team trusts him, gets the ball to the right people, doesn’t flip a ton more, and gets a 250-yard pass.”
