this Dallas cowboys It has been a fairly consistent unit. While they didn’t do much post-season, they’ve definitely become a force to be reckoned with in the regular season. The superstar-filled Cowboys had all the knowledge they needed to be successful last season, but they couldn’t.
While Cowboys fans were heartbroken after the team’s lack of success in the playoffs, no one expected them to make drastic changes to the unit as they had a good group of players. Talking about how the Cowboys screwed everything up, Colin Cowherd said, “Had a chat with Matt Mosley in the last edition.Colin Cowherd Podcast“. “saidI never thought the cowboys were mismanaged but to be honest, the guns, the O-line, the rust rush, they all feel worse this morning”
“Their feet were on the ground during the free agency period.‘ said Colin. Agreeing with Colin’s point of view, Matt noted that the Cowboys ruined it big time when they lost Randy Gregory. They could try to explain it but the way Randy Gregory fell was a huge embarrassment.”
Matt added that Jerry Jones’ family drama made things worse. “Looks like Jerry has a kid that no one knows about. When you weigh things like that, I think it makes Cowboys look even worse. Also, Colin continued to argue that Dallas didn’t look like one of the top 15 teams in the league.”
“Looking at Dallas today, they’re not in the top 15 teams in the league. I feel like they’ve taken a big step back” Colin said. But Matt argued that at the end of the day, the Cowboys had only lost one member of the defense and could still perform properly if they could make some much-needed adjustments to the unit.
