He stated that he wanted to spend more time with his family. Many even blamed his wife, Gisele Bundchen, for forcing her to retire earlier than she wanted. However, Brady surprised everyone by announcing that he would be returning to the Bucs last season.

Recently, Buccaneers co-owner Joel Glazer told reporters that he was depressed and disappointed when Brady announced his retirement. “I experienced so many different emotions”said Glazer, via Tampa Bay Times. “So, the first stage where you kind of feel the end of everything. But then, as time goes on, you think about it and realize that you have so many emotions in one season and at the end of the season it’s painful.”
“I know how I feel at the end of a season, so think about it and you know how competitive Tom Brady is, there’s always a chance. Then he had time to think and think about something, and we’re excited to get it back.‘ he said, adding that it was incredible that Tom was back.
“It’s amazing that Tom Brady is back‘ said Glazer.As everyone knows, it was incredible for our franchise. And I’ve stood by his tireless work ethic, his leadership, the person he is, and no one else who’s done it this long. So getting him back was the best news I’ve heard all season.,” added.
