Kadarius Toney may be on his way to leaving the New York Giants after spending just 1 season with the team last year. The 23-year-old was selected as a first-round pick in the 2021 NFL draft, but his rookie season didn’t go according to plan.
According to multiple reports, the Giants are considering trade options for the wide receiver after seeing enough in the 10 games he was a part of last season. Kadarius Toney was not seen with the team during volunteer camp this week to fuel rumors about his future with the team.

Nearly everything went wrong for Toney in his rookie season as there were multiple injuries and conditions, from wearing the wrong size boots to skipping the volunteer off-season program to multiple positive COVID-19 tests that kept him off the field.
But the Giants head coach Brian Dabol He didn’t want to read too much about Toney’s absence from the volunteer camp and thinks the player will continue with the team next season.
“Like I said, this is a volunteer camp” Daboll said on Wednesday. “We will work with the guys here. The guys who aren’t are going to miss something. Volunteer for a reason. That is the nature of the rules.
“I had good conversations with KT, I also had good conversations with some other guys. I was encouraged by our participation in where we are and what we are doing. We will continue to work in the right direction.”
