Calvin Orin Ridley made a name for himself in a relatively young career. The wide receiver trades for the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons. Before being replaced by the Falcons in the first round of the 2018 draft, Ridley played college football for Alabama.

All of a sudden, Ridley finds himself in a major argument that will likely cost him millions of dollars. Recently, the NFL issued a statement announcing Ridley’s suspension, and he’s ready to at least miss the league’s 2022 season.

After his sentence was announced, Ridley claimed on Twitter that he had wagered a total of around $1,500 and stated that he had no gambling problems. Ridley also claimed that he knew he was wrong and would come back stronger. “I know I was wrong but I get 1 year lol‘ he claimed.
