James White was truly a legend of the game. The 3-time Super Bowl winner played for the Patriots before retiring from the NFL. head coach Bill Belichick called him one of the best players he has ever coached.
His ability to catch out-court passes and his action outside the ball have made him one of the most instrumental RBs of our time. White was one of those players who didn’t have many tricks, but his contribution was always outstanding. His best season was with the Patriots in 2018 when he had 751 ballparks and 87 defenses.
James White will end his illustrious career with 5,208 yards from the scrimmage. He also played 12 playoff games, making him one of the deadliest and most reliable backfield receivers in the entire NFL.

James White is considered the unofficial MVP of Super Bowl LI when he led the Patriots to a comeback win against the Atlanta Falcons. He was a true leader who always set an example and will always be remembered as one of the best RBs for the Patriots.
With White retiring before next season, Patriot’s backcourt has been thinned. Rookie Pierre Strong and RB Ty Montgomery will have to replace the legendary RB.
James White suffered a hip injury from which he did not fully recover. Due to injury, he played in most games in 2021 and eventually retired.
Twitter was upset at this unfortunate news of White’s retirement, with many congratulating RB for being a ‘legend’.
