Joe Burrow confirms football is dangerous amid Tua Tagovailoa’s brutal concussion scare: “We know what we’re getting ourselves into”

The NFL is a dangerous league, and Joe Burrow admits that. Bengals QB Joe Burrow was recently featured on the Colin Cowherd podcast, where he talked about the potential danger of playing in one of the most valuable leagues in the world.

Colin Cowherd asked Joe Burrow about the dangers of concussion and was about Tua Tagovailoa’s recent concussion against the Bengals who had her hospitalized.

“You’re starting to play a little,” said Burrow. “I have never had any lasting effects from a concussion. I’ve been hit before and forgot the rest of the game. This has happened several times.”

A concussion is a major injury that can change your brain chemistry forever and lead to more dangerous injuries that could possibly sabotage your career and life.

Joe Burrow has stated that he has had a concussion, but never a brutal concussion like the Dolphins QB did. Burrow admitted that he didn’t remember some games where he had concussions, and Colin Cowherd was surprised to hear this.

“I haven’t had a nagging headache for a week and I have concussion symptoms after the game” Joe Burrow stated. The Bengals QB believes that no matter how many rules and regulations are applied, football will be inherently very dangerous and this is only part and parcel of the game which is why the player receives such generous payouts.

“You can make all the rules you want to make the game as safe as possible, but there is an inherent risk and danger in the game of football.” According to Burrow Colin Cowherd podcast. “You have 300-pound guys running 20 miles an hour, trying to ignore it while you’re still standing and tearing your head off trying to find open buyers.”

The NFL world came to a standstill when, after being sacked, Tua Tagovailoa collapsed on the field in her game against the Bengals. Tua could not move, and her forearms were bent with wrinkled fingers. One neuroscientist noted that these are signs of a deadly concussion.

Many doctors advised Tua Tagovailoa to retire completely from the NFL, some warned her and told her to take a long rest. The whole ordeal began when Dolphins QB suffered the first jolt against the Bonds. Tua stood up bravely but was staggering all over the field before being taken to the locker room for further examination.

Tua Tagovailoa then took the field to complete the game in the fourth quarter. This enraged many people as concussion protocols were broken. Tua was also allowed to play the game against the Bengals in just 4 days. The NFL and NFLPA later decided to conduct a thorough investigation.

Tua Tagovailoa has recovered perfectly, but it’s unclear when the 24-year-old will take the field as Dolphin’s QB.
