The Dallas Cowboys continued their cheery run of the regular season with one more win. They beat the New York Giants 28-20 in the Thanksgiving fixture, moving up to a season record of 8-3.
Despite the win, the hottest topic after the game was when the team would complete the contract of free agent wide agent Odell Beckham Jr. to another level.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had previously praised the 30-year-old player and made it clear that the team was genuinely interested in signing him. But after the final victory, Jerry Jones tried to soften the conversation by suggesting that the OBJ had not yet returned to full fitness.

Jerry Jones raises concerns about Odell Beckham Jr’s fitness level
Odell Beckham Jr. won the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams last year and has emerged as one of the best wide receivers in the league. He was on his way to win the Super Bowl MVP award, but sadly suffered a knee injury in the first quarter.
Odell Beckham Jr’s dream run was interrupted because of this and he has not appeared on the court since. He is scheduled to return to the tracks in December after going through an intense rehabilitation program for the past few months.
“We’ll see. We’ll have to see,” Jones mentioned Beckham’s knee. “I could not benefit from the rehabilitation work and its location.
While that concern isn’t exactly what fans want to hear, the veteran owner also said he chatted on the phone with OBJ but wanted to know more details about his injury before the Cowboys made the final move for him.
In the past weeks, multiple Cowboys players like Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott have made it clear that they love Odell. Even head coach Mike McCarthy didn’t hide his feelings when talking about the wide receiver.
