‘It’s a dark day for us,’ Bucs QB Tom Brady admits HONEST after heavy defeat against Panthers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are officially in a major crisis, and this has only come after the first seven weeks of the NFL 2022/23 season. Much of the blame for this has to go to the quarterback Tom Brady.

The 45-year-old made the big decision to retire before the season in February, but rescinded that decision when he returned to the league for another season nearly 40 days later. However, his return did not go as planned and the Buccaneers now have a 3-4 record.

What’s more frustrating for the pirates’ backroom and players is the fact that they were defeated by fellow combatants, the Carolina Panthers, while suffering their second loss in a row. The Buccaneers are down to a 21-3 result against a side that has only managed to win one game so far this season.

Brady also acknowledged the truth and claimed it was a very bad day for the franchise. Speaking at the post-match press conference, Tom Brady urged his team to stay together during this time of crisis.

“Nobody feels good about where we are, nobody feels good about how we play or what we do. We’re all in it. We have to go and get ourselves out of this.” said Tom Brady.

“As a team, starting with me and the coaches, and the players as well, we have to be accountable – it’s a dark day for us to lose the way we did and the mistakes we made, the ones we shouldn’t have made.” he continued. “You can’t do anything but take your shirt by your tail. We have a man, we have to own it, we have to stand here and own it and not make excuses and start digging.”

All said and done, Tom Brady Everyone knows he can perform and he needs to focus on stepping up his game as he has done throughout his esteemed career that has made him GOAT.
