The team announced shortly afterward that they had signed Crosby for a multi-year extension.
This is a big deal for Crosby after he made his way to the Pro Bowl in the 2021 season. After dealing with alcoholism, Crosby has been clean ever since, showing his passion for the sport that has earned him the trust of the Raiders front office.

Rapoport and Pelissero said the deal includes $95 million in new money and $53 million in guarantees. Crosby’s relentless engine on the fringes made him a threat. It may only have eight sacks to its name in 2021, but it caused more havoc than that statistic. He produced 82 quarterback presses and 53 QB rushes in the NFL last season, according to Next-Gen Statistics.
The 24-year-old is one of the best junior edge runners in the NFL. It’s no coincidence that one of the first moves of the new regime in Vegas locked up Crosby for a long time. He’s the type of building block the Raiders must hold to take the next step in a tough AFC West.
