Statically speaking, too, Devin Booker’s numbers may not be as dazzling as other guys like Joel Embiid, Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo, but the wins say a lot. The Suns have not only survived since Chris Paul suffered a separate injury, but have thrived under Devin Booker’s leadership.
Considering the Phoenix Suns have been 12-6 in their previous 16 games, Booker may not be able to clinch the silvers, beating Joel Embiid or Nikola Jokic. Still, there’s no doubt that he deserves more respect for his name. Of course, that’s something Isiah Thomas and Kyrie Irving would appreciate, too.
