LeBron James and Anthony Davis played a key role in the Lakers’ acquisition of Russell Westbrook before the 2021-22 season began. With expectations beyond the clouds, the reality was the opposite. Game after game, Mr. Triple Double battled, and with him the morale of the purple and gold army was clearly affected. But the two staff members who never threw Westbrook under the bus were Bron and AD, for related reasons.
With the Lakers finishing their current season on a high note, Davis decided to talk about Russell Westbrook’s difficulties with the Los Angeles Lakers. Open ‘Kyle Goon of the Southern California News Group‘ 2020 NBA Champion Anthony Davis secured Brodie’s tenure with the Lakers. Of course, it’s something you shouldn’t miss.
What was Anthony Davis’ view?
by Anthony Davis “LeBron had to change; Everyone had to change. Everyone had to make sacrifices. Adapting to this was difficult for him (Westbrook). When I first started playing here with someone of Bron’s caliber it was hard for me to adjust to it because I was so used to being like, ‘Okay, there you go, give the ball to AD and we’ll figure it out.
However, the blades are out for the Los Angeles Lakers after a gruesome 2021-22 season. Either Anthony Davis or Russell Westbrook is expected to share the field with LeBron James, as LeBron James’ current contract sees him in Hollywood until the end of the 2022-23 season.
Considering that Anthony Davis is suffering from injuries massively the current season, he’s literally missed halfway through it. On the other hand, Westbrook’s inconsistency was on display every match. Frank Vogel will be the first to vacate his seat, while major actions are expected for the LA Lakers to turn the situation around. Will we see the Brodie, the King and Brow trio next season? The chances are slim, but the NBA has been known to produce some crazy rosters. If we are in the same situation, it will be seen.
