In a recent interview with Bill Plaschke of the LA Times, Jeanie Buss said, “In one of the last games, a woman came in with her baby and she cradled her baby in my arms so I could take a picture with her. … the baby was the Lakers from head to toe.
“The most important thing to him is his kid, and the idea that even at 6 months his kid will be recognized as a Lakers fan and asking for a photo of him and me, that’s the biggest compliment you can get and I’m not going back.”
Added, “This last year was extremely disappointing, a huge disappointment. I feel like we let the Laker fans down and we don’t want to do that again and we have to do it right.
“I’m definitely going to look at everything unless we’re living by the Lakers standard. I’ll make the hard decisions because that’s what you have to do.”
