Minecraft is having an eventful year with many new updates coming to the game. The Wild Update is coming soon, and Ancient Cities in Minecraft will be coming to the game soon.
Minecraft The Wild Update was announced at this year’s hosted Minecraft Live event. This year has been very active for the game, with many new updates announced as well as some new ones. One of the most anticipated features in the update is definitely the Deep Dark Biome in the game. This will be the deepest point of the game and the Y level is below 0.
Here’s how players can find Ancient Cities in Minecraft when they launch the game.

Ancient Cities will be the last naturally formed structure in the game to be part of the Wild Update.

Minecraft introduced several new biomes and additions in Minecraft Live 2021. Live announced that the game has beautified its forests and swamps with many new additions such as frog and mangrove trees.
It has been announced that the Deep dark biome planned for the Caves and Cliffs Part 2 update will be moved to the next update. The next major update to the game will be The Wild Update, which will now include Deep Dark.
The update for Deep Dark was delayed as the developers decided to introduce many new features along with the new Biome. Deep Dark will now have various Sculk blocks that can detect players’ movements. Additionally, the Guardian Gang will also spawn in this biome.
However, the biggest change will be the introduction of Ancient Cities. Ancient Cities will be built with a new stone block and will cover a large area underground. They will spawn in the deepest and darkest parts of the game, well below Y level 0. Players can dig deep until they find the Deep dark biome and find the Ancient Cities in Minecraft.
However, more details have yet to be revealed and will be released when the update is announced.
