Demand for Flights Increases and Will Continue to Increase

Many people have been unable to travel at all, or at least not as much as they would like, for the past two years. They can now return to travel, so we saw a lot of demand and a lot of new opportunities for travel. As a result, air travel has returned to pre-pandemic levels in the US and is close to that worldwide. Experts say that the demand for flights will continue to increase.

This is one of the reasons for the increased revenue of our partners working in the flight segment, which has tripled since January of this year. Working with flight partner programs can be very profitable if you know how to meet demand.

Airfare Prices Are Rising, and This Is Your Opportunity to Receive a High Partner Award

Jet fuel prices are increasing rapidly, and accordingly, flight ticket prices are also increasing.

This complicates things for travelers, but it’s also an opportunity for travel creators. Higher prices plus increased demand equates to larger commissions.

Prepare your website: evaluate existing content and create new content that will help you get closer to your goal of earning on flights. The largest flight aggregators pay half of the revenue, usually 1.5% of the ticket price. Our most successful partners earn up to $15,000 each month. However, an initially realistic target would be $400 per month.

WayAway is a flight aggregator that helps travelers find the most convenient, fastest and cheapest tickets when searching for a specific route. In addition, users can book hotels in their chosen destination on Booking.com. WayAway has great coverage for many destinations worldwide.

WayAway is much more than an aggregator. The platform also offers the WayAway Plus Membership Plan which provides:

If your flight is canceled and you are entitled to compensation, you do not need to spend four hours on the phone to get your refund. Instead, the situation will be handled by the support team. Also, if you love Thai food and want to know about Thai restaurants nearby, the support team will find great restaurants for you.
  • Complete city guides. Locals from different cities around the world shared extensive advice as well as information on popular and lesser-known destinations.

6 Tips to Earn on Flights

1. Don’t Try To Sell Everything To Everyone

Do not try to sell different travel services to each user. Find your niche and decide who to sell to.

For example, if you want to create a new website for an audience that lives in or is interested in flying to Italy, try to become an expert in travel to Italy. You can show your viewers some routes and interesting places to visit. You can also tell them how to save money on flights, hotels and more. If you show the audience that you know where you’re writing about, you instill confidence with your words.

With a niche site, you have a high chance of appearing on the first pages of search results. If you are promoting everything, it will be harder to find unique keywords and attract a new audience. Those who want everything can go to a well-known resource, for example, Expedia.

2. Target Travel Ready People

Target people who are ready to travel and book right now. It’s easiest to convert this audience to purchase. Find buy keywords to reach them best.

3. Encourage Your Audience to Book as soon as they find the right ticket

Currently, one of the major problems in the travel niche is the availability of tickets. For example, if you are looking for a flight from Paris to Istanbul, you may see some prices and availability. However, these tickets may not be available in an hour or two.

Show your audience that some changes will happen. If they don’t currently book a ticket, they won’t be able to secure a ticket at the special price. Therefore, not taking immediate action is a big risk.

Some booking platforms allow a full refund within a 24-hour period. You can tell your users to buy tickets now and think later. There are people who are on the brink of some kind of abyss and can’t decide whether to buy a ticket or not.

They’ll be more comfortable booking tickets if you explain to them that it’s a great price right now and there isn’t too much risk as they might cancel the order. To do this, use effective CTAs (call-to-actions) such as “book now”.

4. If You Don’t Know What Your Target Users Want, Ask Them

Instead of trying to give your audience something without really knowing their needs, ask them what they want. There are several ways to do this, but the main question you may want to ask is: “What is the biggest challenge you are facing right now?”

To attract people with the same type of issues to your website, you can mirror the terms or phrases they use in their responses on your own. Eventually, you will sell more and find ways to keep users coming back to your website again and again.

5. Create Content Targeting Specific Demographics

If you’re interested in something and you have a dune surfing group on Facebook, for example, target that specific demographic when creating content.

Tell subscribers they can surf the dunes in Dubai on their next trip. Show them where they can buy plane tickets and book hotels. Don’t forget other brands. Tell your audience about Viator or TripAdvisor, where travelers can easily and quickly book events around the world.

6. Use WayAway Content to Create Your Own Posts

For example, if you know your audience likes to visit the Caribbean and WayAway offers users the ability to search for flights in that area, you can see what content WayAway has for the Bahamas or the Caicos Islands. When you find the coolest place in that area, make a post about it. You can tell your audience that this location is on the WayAway app, so they should check it out and buy a flight.

Be careful to understand what your readers want. If your audience is older, focus on warmer places like Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. Also look at seasonality. People won’t be flying to Germany in December as much as they are in the summer. Pay attention to such things, know the industry and use that to make decisions.
