Snapchat now supports video calls up to 16 people and voice calls up to 32 people. It allows you to disturb everyone when you forget your headphones on the bus or in the office and jump on a video call with your 15 closest friends.
The biggest advantage of the video chat feature is that it supports Snapchat filters, so you can use all the funny filters that spice up your photos during a live call. If you’re not ready to face the camera, you can also go voice-only on the call.

To use Snapchat Video Chat with up to 16 people, go to a group message and tap the video camera icon. This opens the video section of the app and you can start your conversation with everyone in the group. Check out our Snapchat issues and fixes if you have any issues.
This is an upgrade to the Snapchat Chat 2.0 video chat features introduced in 2016, with support for voice and video calling. This upgrade has made Snapchat a bigger player in live video chat and you can now attract a lot more users.
The new feature comes as Snapchat tries to take advantage of users who are fed up with the Facebook platform. In addition to the new 16-person video chat, Snapchat now supports @mentioning like Twitter. You can tag people in your floor or snapshots. Type an @ followed by their username and they’ll be tagged in the story and get a notification.
