PUBG Mobile Miramar Update: What You Need to Know

Before the Xbox and just a few months after its release, the Miramar map has arrived in PUBG Mobile. In fact, a massive PUBG Mobile update just came with tons of new content. And while new weapons or vehicles are exciting, this isn’t the latest PUBG Mobile v0.5.0 has to offer.

Miramar in PC version PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has been around since late 2017, although it has yet to come to Xbox. With a surprise event, it’s on mobile from May 15th.

And while the most exciting aspect is the new map, I’m more excited about the progression missions. Starting in season 2, progression missions allow players to complete various challenges to earn rewards, reach new levels, and more. The developers at Tencent have even added weekly Event assignments that you can complete to earn even more content. Basically, it’s a way to earn something instead of spending real money.

The idea with quests and assignments is that you can earn gifts instead of spending hundreds of dollars on costumes like we saw in Fortnite.

We also really liked the new Local Quick Team feature. This allows players to easily join a group of friends sitting next to them using just a quick 6 digit code. It makes it easy to join multiplayer matches and battle with your friends. The region system will also assist language-based chat channels.
