About a week ago, Apple released the new version of macOS Ventura, the latest operating system for its MacBooks. The update primarily brings security patches and if it fixes some bugs, it also brings some technical issues. Indeed, several users have been complaining about this for a few days.unexpected appearance of black screens.
These are the last takes up to a few seconds and it usually occurs twice: when logging in at the user session and immediately after entering the password. Insights does not report a black screen during other operations. According to references on Reddit, reinstalling the update is not enough to fix the probleme indicates that it is contained in it.

This already very annoying error is not the only problem faced by users. Indeed, others are also reporting a problem with their external monitors, particularly the screen saver function. However, this concern was already present in macOS Ventura 13.2. Worse still, the first macOS Ventura 13.4 beta doesn’t seem to fix the problem. Therefore, it’s hard to predict when Apple will finally fix the problem. In the release notes for version 13.3, the Cupertino company does not mention all these display issues, despite the growing number of testimonies. So let’s hope this fixes the situation before the next update is deployed.
