iPhone X Pre-Order Tips and Tricks

The iPhone X pre-order date is only a few hours away, and those who want to buy Apple’s new flagship should start preparing for the big day.

iPhone X pre-orders begin October 27 at 12:01 PM Pacific Time. Those of you on the west coast of the United States will need to stay up late tonight, while those on the east coast will need to set an alarm so they don’t miss the start of pre-orders.

Waking up late or waking up early for iPhone X pre-orders to kick off doesn’t guarantee you delivery on November 3, but it’s the only way to avoid waiting in line on release day. Apple says it will have stock of the iPhone X on November 3, although it encourages customers to come early. Stock can run out fast.

If you want the iPhone X on or after November 3, you’ll want to pre-order it. Rumors point to long shipping delays, and Apple insider Ming-Chi Kuo claims iPhone X won’t be widely available at launch due to various production problems.

Unlike the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, the iPhone X is very likely to be sold hours after it goes on sale in the United States and countries around the world.

If you’ve gone through the iPhone pre-order process, before you know it you should be ready. If you want precise color with the right amount of storage for your needs, you should be ready to go when the clock strikes 12:01 Pacific. If you are unprepared, you may not get the model you want and you may have to wait a long time for your iPhone X.

We’ve put together a list of iPhone X pre-order tips and tricks to help you out right now and when the calendar rolls around October 27th today.
