Apple’s iOS 12.3 update won’t be as big as the iOS 12.2 update, but there’s still some reason to be excited about the company’s next milestone upgrade for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
As we move towards WWDC 2019, attention is starting to shift from iOS 12 to iOS 13. Apple’s iOS 13 update will be unveiled during the company’s keynote on June 3, and we expect Apple to release the first iOS 13 beta shortly. The official release will arrive later in the year alongside Apple’s new 2019 iPhones.
iOS 13 is certainly exciting, but don’t forget iOS 12. Apple is still developing the current operating system and the company plans to release a new version in the near future.
The iOS 12.3 update is the company’s third milestone upgrade for iOS 12, following the release of iOS 12.1 and iOS 12.2. Assuming the company doesn’t release an iOS 12.2.1 update, this will be the next update for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch models around the world.
If you want to try the iOS 12.3 update right now, you can do so through one of Apple’s beta programs. iOS 12.3 beta is available to those in the developer program and those in the free Beta Software Program. The Beta Software Program only requires a working Apple ID.
iOS 12.3 is making progress and we expect Apple to pull it out of beta testing in the near future. With a release on the horizon, we thought it appropriate to summarize some of the things that got us and others excited about Apple’s next iOS 12 release.
We also want to go through some of the things that have the potential to disappoint you. This will help you set appropriate expectations before the update is released.
