With the Fallout 4 release date just days away, there are a few Fallout 4 apps iPhone and Android users should consider downloading.

As we approach the Fallout 4 release date of November 10, we’re starting to see some action in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.

Yesterday, Bethesda released the first official application for Fallout 4. The app will allow users to interact with the game in a way that was not possible in 2008’s Fallout 3 and 2010’s Fallout: New Vegas.

We’ve also seen other Fallout 4-related apps pop up in preparation for the game’s release, and we’d like to share them with you today. Bethesda’s app will help you connect to the game, but these other apps will help you level up your character and navigate the apocalyptic version of Boston.

Fallout 4 Pip Boy

Yesterday, Bethesda finally released the long-awaited Fallout 4 Pip-Boy companion app for iOS and Android. The company approved the app earlier this year alongside Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition, a collector’s pack that sold out in the United States.

The company’s app is for everyone iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod touch) or Android device To interact with the Fallout 4 game. Compatible with Xbox One, PC and PS4.

You can check your character’s stats, inventory, game map, radio and also play your holotape games.

If you’ve purchased the Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition, you can slide your phone (assuming it’s compatible) into the gadget and use the Pip Boy just like the character does in the game.

No release date other than Pip Boy Windows Phone app must come at a point down the road. If you own a Lumia device or something, you should keep your eyes peeled.
